When the Drumming Stops

A man goes to an exotic tropical island for a vacation. As his boat nears the island, he notices a constant drumming sound. He asks a native how long it will go on, and the native replies nervously, "Very bad when the drumming stops." This continues for days. Finally, fed up, the traveler grabs a native and shouts, "What happens when the drumming stops?!"

The native replies, "Bass solo."
