Kim Jong Naming Convention

I've been thinking about the names of the North Korean leaders.

As far as I know, Kim Jong-Il died, and his son, Kim Jong-Un, was appointed the new leader. It would have been more appropriate if the guy who died was called Kim Jong-Un, and his son who was taking over was called Kim Jong-Deux (and in turn, his son should be called Kim Jong-Trois).
