Speeding Ticket Excuse

A guy gets pulled over on the highway going 90 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The deputy walks up to the window and says, "I clocked you at 90 in a 55. Can I see your driver's license?" "Don't got it," says the guy. The deputy asks for his insurance card. "I think I saw one next to the gun in the glove box," he replies. "Why do you have a gun in the glove box?" "How else was I supposed to tie up a woman, throw her in the trunk, and steal her car?" Just then the Sheriff arrives. He walks up and says, "My deputy tells me you have a gun, a stolen car, and a woman in the trunk?" The guy replies, "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! He probably told you I was speeding, too."
